A firewall is an appliance (a combination of hardware and software) or an application (software) designed to control the flow of Internet Protocol (IP. This post will help you if your Windows firewall does not start automatically in Windows 10/8/7. Windows Firewall acts as the first layer of defense against malware. Active X not installed.

Why did it not throw up the alert last week, when I had two, rather longer, chat sessions with McAfee Tech Support about the issues with the new software? Was my McAfee firewall not running correctly then? Is it not running correctly now? I have had McAfee security software installed on my computer since I bought it back in 2007.
I had trouble with ZoneAlarm so I uninstalled it. Not uninstalled and can not remove it to turn Windows Firewall on. So, Oh it gets better. Thinking I would get help by installing a new firewall (NOT), I installed COMODO Firewall. No they are both active by SSoftware and the registry doesn't know it is still there. I tried to turn off the Windows Firewall and it does not tell me I am at risk which was what prompted me to try other things. Anyone have a clue? or FORMAT C:?

Windows firewall is designed to work in unison with third party security. You can turn it on while another is active and it wont tell you you're at risk when you disable it because it recognizes the other program.
As for getting rid of zonealarm:
1. Download the Windows installation cleanup utility. 2. Disconect your computer from the internet. 3. Uninstall both firewalls (preferably in safemode) 4. Once the uninstall packages have finished run the Windows installation cleanup utility, selecting the firewalls. This will clear all registry references. 5. Delete any files left over in your 'program files' folder. 6. Reinstall the firewall of your choice (probably comodo) 7.Reconect to the internet. 8. If this didn't work, come back here and we'll see what we can come up with.

I am trying to get our sccm clients installed properly on our machines. It was working a few weeks ago but recently noticed that clients have not been installing properly. The CCM client is installed on the machines but only two evaluation cycle actions are present and we get errors in our ccm.log (posted below). I turned off both the server firewall and the client firewall but it made no difference.
Below is a shot of what happens in the log when we push the ccm client to a machine.
The log that you provided does not show any errors. There are red lines due to some keywords in the lines, but overall, what I saw there was ok.Most likely you have issues with clients registering with your SCCM Server. For these issues check the following logs: ClientIDManagerStartup.log on the affected clients side and MP_RegistrationManager.log on the ManagementPoint side.
